Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board
To be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Outpatient appointments and Outpatient Clinics, ensuring the right patient attends the right clinic, on the right day at the right time. In addition, you will have responsibility for the preparation of all case notes adhering to departmental policy. You will manage the partial booking wizard and assist and support the supervisor and junior staff within the department. Cover may be required at any hospital within the Health Board.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Maintain the partial booking invitation wizard in line with departmental procedures.
2. Coordinate all follow-up appointments in a timely manner.
3. Track, locate, file, and retrieve case notes.
4. Prepare and provide case notes for clinics.
5. Input and extract data from the HB's Myrddin system.
6. File documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
7. Postpone and reschedule follow-up appointments and monitor cancelled and reduced follow-up patient clinics.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This post is fixed term for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.

Person Specification
* NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or relevant clerical experience.
* Experience working in a busy office environment.
* Good customer care skills.
* Ability to perform a full range of administrative and clerical duties.
* Experience dealing with the general public.
* Understanding and ability to undertake some office procedures gained through previous experience.
* Confident, conscientious, and enthusiastic.
* Able to work under pressure in a timely and well-organised manner.
* Able to work independently without supervision.
* Previous knowledge and use of the Myrddin Systems.
