Main duties of the job We are looking for a Radiology Administration Manager to join our Management Team supporting and managing over 60 Radiology administration staff across site. This is a challenging yet interesting role with lots of variety. Working closely with members of the Radiology Team the post holder has direct operational, management and oversight of the Administration Team and the cross site secretarial staff. You will need to provide responsive and effective management support to a large staff group using enhanced leadership skills. The post holder will need to ensure that secretarial and administrative support provided to Consultant Radiologists, Senior Radiology Managers and their Clinical Teams is efficient and effective. Playing a lead role in the development and management of the systems and processes required to support the provision of administrative services the post holder will be proactive, driven and forward thinking. You will enjoy problem solving, be organised and work in a methodical manner. The post holder will be expected to produce routine and ad hoc information to support the monitoring of quality indicators and the achievement of key Department and Directorate objectives. The successful candidate will have exceptional people management skills, advanced communication and leadership experience, and a proactive, flexible approach. Whilst you will be based at Eastbourne you must be able to travel and work flexibly across all 3 Trust sites as and when required.
