JOB MISSION:
The Treasury Analyst position is part of the Corporate Treasury function in Finance. The Treasury Analyst will work with a small Treasury team to maintain cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements. A successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate well with teams across the company.
The role reports to the Director of Finance and Treasury. The role is based in Brighton, Massachusetts and is in office Tuesday through Thursday.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Update the daily cash flow to ensure that proper liquidity is maintained.
2. Assist in the monthly forecast of balance sheet and cash flow.
3. Prepare monthly analysis of cash flow – casuals, risks, and opportunities to cash availability and financing requirements.
4. Lead the financial close and reporting for related entities.
5. Basic analysis of Foreign Exchange results.
6. Assist in management of global insurance programs. Take lead in data gathering for policy renewals and assist in the claims process.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (across global, regional, and local subsidiaries), including finance, accounting, tax, and legal, to ensure effective treasury operations.
8. Ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Treasurer or other department leaders.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, economics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in a finance role.
3. Ability to multi-task to meet tight timelines.
4. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
