Assurance and Commissioning Engineering Manager - Automation

Tesco Property Maintenance are looking for hardworking and efficient Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Property Maintenance Team!
You will be responsible for
* Building effective relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
* Contributing to setting strategy and direction for the automation engineering team within Tesco for the UK.
* Auditing our sites to ensure maximum equipment effectiveness and safety.
* Acting as a technical expert for the business, working cross-functionally with teams such as engineering and safety.
* Supporting the early stages of automation projects, assisting design teams, commissioning with a high level of detail, and supporting operational handover.
* Monitoring performance of sites using internal dashboards and reacting to changes and poor trends autonomously.
* Liaising with peers to identify and use data to guide the long-term capital investment program.
* Being a Subject Matter Expert on failure principles and tailoring approaches to differing problems.
* Setting and maintaining high engineering standards across our estate as a member of the core central Automation team.
* Continuously developing professional engineering skills.
* Working with vendors and contractors to cover all engineering and maintenance requirements while managing budgets effectively.
You will need
* Experience with large automation projects, particularly in the development and SAT phases.
* Experience in scraping, formatting, and utilising technical information to create actionable dashboards.
* Experience in contractor management and handling critical issues.
* Technical experience of automated equipment with the ability to support diagnosis of breakdowns and ongoing trends.
