Pinnacle Group are looking for a reliable Caretaker to ensure our buildings and facilities are well-maintained and secure. You will be joining our Homes team based in Telford. Our Homes business serves communities by providing trusted housing management solutions. We take a collaborative and commercially minded, yet socially principled approach across our portfolio of Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, managing repairs, ensuring security protocols are followed, and keeping the premises clean and orderly. You will need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out minor repairs and decoration works, including plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
* Deep / Scheduled / Reactive Cleaning (when required) using cleaning materials and consumables as directed ensuring usage instructions are followed accordingly.
* Carry out investigations into reactive requests relating to deficiencies in accommodation and where necessary notifying management of the need to call a Service Provider.
* Assisting with set up & set down for leisure and sporting events including 3rd parties for privately booked spaces / pitches.
* Emergency response to situations that may arise (floods, bodily fluids etc).
Key Criteria:
* Experience of cleaning services and cleaning equipment.
* Have a range of general handyman / DIY skills with the ability to multi-task.
* Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
* Good verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate well to parties on all levels.
* The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
