Closing Date: 27th January 2025About the role:Reporting to the Head of Fleet Operations, the purpose of the Fleet Supply Manager is to develop and implement the Fleet Supply strategy, ensuring delivery of a first-class service to our customers and drive commercial and operational advantage with key suppliers.The role is responsible for overseeing successful delivery of products and services from circa 26 suppliers with a total spend exceeding £27million per annum. The right candidate for this role needs to be able to ensure the services received are, fit for purpose, in accordance with expectation, contractual requirements and compliance. We need an individual who is equipped and able to handle any situation should these expectations not be met. The successful candidate will be working with a large spectrum of stakeholders including VW Group, Procurement, Legal, Risk, IT and Operations. Someone with previous stakeholder management experience and the ability to manage a varying workload is key.This position also comes with line management responsibility with 5 colleagues reporting into them.ResponsibilitiesDefine the in-contract commercial terms for all Fleet Supply based suppliers. Ensuring suitable SLA\\\'s, performance metrics, service credits and terms of business relate to and reflect the services to be procured.Maximise all opportunities to increase revenue from suppliers, negotiating rebate/commission opportunities where appropriate.Lead the service gathering requirements that lead up to the procurement ITT process ensuring tenders are strategically aligned to VWFS requirements.Work with the Procurement team to specify the service requirements, identifying key suppliers that can fulfil the service.Create and implement project plans for tenders liaising with internal and external stakeholders in advance to drive competition in the market and identify new opportunities.Technically evaluate all tender bids, carefully evaluating capabilities against VWFS requirements to qualify only suitable suppliersEnsure all suppliers go through the correct onboarding process including risk, IS, Legal and outsourcing assessments to satisfy compliance and FCA requirementsEnsure all suppliers have regular and ongoing due diligence checks completed according to the requirements of the VWFS Supplier Management Policy - act as required if breaches are found and resolve breaches through targeted timebound actions that will bring the service back to being compliant within agreed timescalesTrack supplier spends to ensure compliance with agreed budgets, where necessary, re-engaging with stakeholders including procurement to increase spend requirements in a compliant manner.Responsible for the accurate invoicing of supplier services to our Fleet Corporate customers. The Fleet Supply team create all appropriate invoice requests and provide consolidated billing services to agreed and approved strategic customersDefine appropriate processes, controls and reconciliations for the management of vehicle taxation to ensure legal requirements of vehicle ownership are metSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in the Fleet/Leasing industryDemonstrable experience in supplier management for service and product-based suppliersCIPS or equivalent qualification advantageous (working towards or complete)Experience of project management would be advantageousExperience of delivering positive strong commercial outcomesExperience of building and maintaining senior management relationships to influence where necessaryExperience of leading and developing a team through effective coaching, mentoring and developmentExperience of driving and delivering continual service level improvementsExperience of working with commercial contracts (preferred)A highly commercial acumen with excellent organisational and business planning skillsAbility to develop and maintain effective and constructive relationships with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to influence the direction of suppliersStrong dispute and resolution management skillsAbout Volkswagen Financial ServicesOur mission is straight forward, we want to be \\\'The Key to Mobility\\\'.
