Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Poulton-le-Fylde Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.85 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Supporting classroom activities and assisting teachers in delivering lessons Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts Helping to create educational materials and resources Supervising students during activities and break times Assisting with administrative tasks as needed Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or young people Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of educational principles and practises Ability to engage and motivate students Basic IT skills Excellent organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work in a school environment Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Potential for term-time only working All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
