All community nurses work as part of a local team, closely with the local acute hospital, social care, mental health teams, GPs, and Practice Nurses and use the electronic clinical record, EMIS with a work Ipad and Iphone provided. Are you passionate for high quality patient care and experience? We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within a wider team of nurses and health care assistants. You will work under the direction of a District Nurse, to assess, implement and evaluate person centred care for a caseload of patients, undertaking venepuncture, wound care, catheterisation, syringe drivers, end of life care and symptom control. On achieving all relevant competencies, the post holder will be reviewed for a Band 6 Senior Community Nurse post. Post holders will be available to work Monday to Sunday between 8 am and 8 pm and be able to travel to patients homes frequently throughout the day across the locality and across Guildford and Waverley.
