Job Title: Consultant in CAMHS Psychiatry Grade : Consultant Location: Huntington, Yorkshire Working Hours: 40 Rate : Competitive, to be discussed upon application We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in CAMHS Psychiatry work full time hours per week for our client’s male treatment ward based in Huntington, Yorkshire. This is an Inpatient role. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. What will your responsibilities be? The postholder will work with staff (nursing, psychology, OT, junior medic) to oversee treatment plan for mostly non-eating disorder patients upon admission. The postholder needs to have some experience of working with teams, preferably inpatient teams. The postholder will be responsible for reviewing above patients at least once a week in person, prescribe and monitor appropriate medication, chair MDT meetings weekly to make sure care plan and risk assessments are accurately recorded and flexible to adapt them with the team. The post holder will need to have experience of working with young people. The post holder will need good communication skills to work with the team and patients in an inpatient environment where splitting is routinely anticipated and discussed in the MDT meeting. Qualifications and Experiences: You must have a full GMC license to practice. Section 12. AC approval. Previous experience in relevant field. How to apply?
