Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of care staff, nurses, and support personnel, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times. You will be responsible for recruitment, training, supervision, and professional development of the staff team. Care Standards & Compliance: Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, health and safety, and relevant legislation. Regularly assess and monitor care delivery, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Person-Centered Care: Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for each resident, ensuring their needs and preferences are met and that they receive the highest quality care and support. Financial & Operational Management: Manage budgets and financial resources efficiently, ensuring the home operates within its budget. You will also ensure that resources are allocated appropriately and that the home's operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Resident and Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for addressing concerns and ensuring families feel confident and involved in the care process. Quality Assurance & Improvement: Regularly evaluate care quality through audits, feedback from residents and families, and staff input. Implement improvements where necessary to maintain and exceed the home's quality standards. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in a senior management role within a care home, ideally with experience in managing residential, nursing, and dementia care services. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and other regulatory frameworks. Experience in managing budgets, resources, and staff within a care home setting. Passion for delivering person-centered care and enhancing the lives of residents.
