Job Title: GCSE Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Description: As a GCSE Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students studying for their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams. Your primary role will involve delivering high-quality tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of each student. Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions in subjects such as Maths, English, Science, and other GCSE subjects. Assess students' learning needs and develop customised lesson plans to address areas of improvement. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them enhance their understanding and performance in exam preparation. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure academic growth. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to foster a collaborative learning environment. Required Qualifications: A degree in Education or a related field Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: Prior experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE-level subjects Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment criteria Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant subject Experience in conducting exam preparation and revision sessions Working Conditions: Temporary position with Part-Time hours Work may involve evenings or weekends to accommodate students' schedules Location may vary between student homes, schools, or tutoring centres All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
