The WWSO EMEA Data and AI Go-To-Market team helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies. We are technology specialists in the Data and AI domains. The EMEA Data and AI GTM team engages in the largest and most complex Data and AI opportunities to accelerate customers' journey and help them scale. In this role, you will lead a team of talented Data and AI Specialist Solutions Architects that help customers adopt AWS’ Storage, Database, Analytics and GenAI/ML technologies. You will hire and develop the best Data and AI technologists, work with the most strategic opportunities in the Data and AI domains, guide your team to scale tech knowledge via technical assets, products, programs, solutions and the AWS field. Additionally, you and the team will engage with Product teams to share customer feedback, regional priorities and contribute to product roadmap prioritization.

Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Data and AI EMEA GTM team as a Sr. Manager of Specialist Solutions Architects in UKI!
Key job responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of SSAs for Data and AI.
2. Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as developers and technical architects, to develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line-revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
3. Develop and deploy sales motions and programs that leverage Field Sales teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
4. Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, release plan.
5. Collaborate with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
6. Technical Thought Leadership.
7. Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Specialist Solution Architects.
8. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
9. Guide your team to find ways to scale tech knowledge via products, programs, and the AWS Field.
10. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS SA community.
11. Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, datasheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices.
12. Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts to enable them to be “Cloud advocates.”
13. Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Experience in management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent.
3. Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
4. Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking.
5. Experience design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
6. Experienced hands-on experience with AI/ML or related technology domain.
7. Experience hands-on experience with building ML/data pipelines, data engineering, or similar technologies.
8. Experience with Python to analyze datasets, train, evaluate, deploy, and optimize models.
9. History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
10. Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
12. AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
13. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
14. Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
