An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Children's Public Health Nursing and Paediatric Services which is a senior clinical role and carries responsibility for the strategic development and operational delivery of Children's Public Health Nursing and Paediatric Services across the whole of Powys.
Actively support the Lead Director for Children to enact legislative responsibilities as defined by the Children's Act (2004) and the Social Services and Well Being Act Wales (2014).
Powys is a large county covering approximately a quarter of Wales on the border of Shropshire and Herefordshire. * Post registration education and professional updating.
* Relevant first level degree qualification
* Masters qualification or evidence of continuous management development to Masters level

* Extensive knowledge and experience of safeguarding and public protection policy and practice
