We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our CQC-registered domiciliary care agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local authority contracts, tendering processes, and private client acquisition.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and secure new business opportunities within the health and social care sector
2. Build relationships with local authorities, NHS discharge teams, and private clients
3. Research, prepare, and submit successful tenders and funding applications
4. Develop and implement growth strategies to increase our market presence
5. Drive referrals and partnerships with key stakeholders
6. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in care regulations and funding
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in business development, tendering, or contract acquisition within the health & social care sector
2. Strong understanding of local authority commissioning, NHS discharge pathways, and private client engagement
3. Ability to write and manage successful bids and tenders
4. Excellent networking and negotiation skills
5. A proactive, results-driven approach
