We are a small electrical company working in Nottinghamshire and Sheffield looking for an admin assistant and personal PA to work alongside the director. This role will take place in the director's home and will cover a wide scope of duties including admin, stock control, taking and checking deliveries, phone bookings, and personal household management including occasional childcare and nursery collection/drop-offs.
Duties
1. Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office and workforce.
2. Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
3. Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory.
4. Schedule appointments and meetings, and maintain calendars.
5. Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records.
6. Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using XERO.
7. Perform general clerical duties.
8. Assist with organizing and coordinating the diary.
9. Calling potential leads and turning them into bookings.
10. Assisting in household management and personal bookings.
Requirements
1. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
2. Familiarity with computerized systems for managing information.
3. Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred.
4. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Knowledge of proper phone etiquette and customer service principles.
8. Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and experience using XERO is a plus.
9. Driving licence is desirable.
Candidate must be reliable, tenacious, and organized. We are looking for either an apprentice (no experience necessary) or experienced admin to cover anything from 16 - 35 hours per week. The office hours are 9-5, so working hours are flexible within this time frame.
