About the job: We are seeking an Analyst Infrastructure Engineer to join our specialist support and projects team. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Citrix environments, Windows Server administration, virtualization, telephony systems, and IT infrastructure. As part of a collaborative IT team, you will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting infrastructure systems while learning from experienced engineers. This role includes both remote and onsite support, with opportunities to contribute to IT projects. This role is based in London, with flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, combining time in the office and at home for a better work-life balance. What You’ll Do As an Analyst Infrastructure Engineer, you will be involved in day-to-day IT support, maintenance, and projects. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the administration of Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, and NetScaler. Supporting Windows Server operations, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management. Monitoring and troubleshooting virtualized environments, such as VMware vSphere and Dell EMC infrastructure. Working with telephony systems to support enterprise communication services. Providing basic support for backup and disaster recovery processes using tools like Veeam. Helping with physical and cloud infrastructure management, including Dell Hyperconverged and IBM servers. Collaborating with senior engineers to diagnose and resolve IT issues. Academic Background: Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate (CCA), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent are a plus. Previous Experience: 1-2 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with Citrix environments (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix DaaS, and NetScaler). Familiarity with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management. Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Dell EMC infrastructure. Basic experience with backup and disaster recovery tools like Veeam. Knowledge of telephony systems and enterprise communication services is desirable. Experience with physical and cloud infrastructure management (e.g., Dell Hyperconverged, IBM servers) is a plus. Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Additional languages are a plus, depending on the geographic scope of the role. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Citrix environments and virtualization technologies. Proficient in Windows Server operations and related tools (Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.). Basic knowledge of VMware vSphere and Dell EMC infrastructure. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes (e.g., Veeam).
