Role: Project Manager
Location: Grimsby/Lincolnshire & Yorkshire
Salary: £75,000 + Package
Our client, a regional main contractor, is seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes between the value of £5m-£35m throughout the Yorkshire & Lincolnshire regions (current scheme in Grimsby).
Job Description:
1. Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
2. Coordinating Site & Utility preparation (pre-construction)
3. Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
4. Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
5. Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively, and to a high standard
6. Monitoring construction budget to minimize overspending
7. Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email, or meetings in person
8. Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
9. Liaising with Site Management in terms of build programmes and updates
