We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team in the beautiful village of Godstone. The position is part-time across Monday-Friday. This will be a combination of shifts depending on clinic room availability.
Main Duties of the Job
The main responsibilities of this role will be supporting the wider healthcare team with a variety of clinical procedures and administrative support. This includes performing health checks and monitoring patients with long-term conditions. The management of incoming pathology/microbiology and screening results e.g. bowel cancer/mammograms/cervical screening would be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
This is a varied role offering training and development opportunities in-house and across the wider DHC GP Federation. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges and successes.

The team is growing rapidly with the addition of care coordinators, a clinical pharmacist, a first contact physiotherapist, three clinical lead GPs and an enthusiastic management team. Job Responsibilities
The main aim for this job role is to ensure the delivery of an effective nursing service to the local practice population. This will involve working under the direct supervision of the Senior Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols. The post-holder will be responsible for approved tasks including performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients.
The post-holder will be expected to work with the Primary Health Care Team to ensure a seamless delivery of care within the Practice and to promote a positive image of the Practice to its patients and service users.
