Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of patient safety and product quality by ensuring all aseptic processes and compounded medications comply with UK regulatory standards, including Yellow Cover Documents (YCD), MHRA guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
2. Drive Efficiencies: Review, update, and enhance stability protocols, prescription processes, and associated standards for compounded medications to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred outcomes.
3. Innovate: Lead research and development initiatives to advance compounded medication stability and implement innovative practices.
4. Quality Assurance: Deliver a robust pharmacy quality assurance framework by conducting risk assessments, managing incidents and non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement.
5. Build Capability: Act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to colleagues and customers on aseptic quality and stability.
6. Foster Relationships: Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver the highest standards of service, support commercial opportunities, and build customer relationships.

About You
The ideal candidate for the Principal Pharmacist Aseptic Quality and Stability role will possess the following key skills and experience:
* Advanced Understanding: Expertise in aseptic processes, including sterility assurance and quality control.
* Strong Communication: Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
* Analytical Skills: Proficiency in identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements.
* Attention to Detail: High accuracy in monitoring and maintaining quality standards.
* Project Management: Skills to plan and oversee aseptic quality initiatives effectively.
Qualifications
* Vocational Master's degree in Pharmacy.
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
* Post-graduate diploma or MSc in clinical pharmacy or equivalent.
The successful candidate will be adept at managing competing priorities, collaborating across departments, and ensuring that both short-term goals and long-term business growth objectives are met.
