We are currently looking for a Shift Electrician to join our team in Linford, Stanford-le-Hope. The shift patterns are: Days - 6am - 6pm, Nights - 6pm - 6am

Role Responsibility
In the role of Shift Electrician you will be responsible for:
1. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance activities which include planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery in manufacture of Aircrete block or other similar products.
2. Meet statuary and SHE standards as a minimum.
3. This is a shift role, working on a variety of plant throughout the block manufacturing site as directed on a planned or reactive basis.
4. You will be required to record all work on the site CMMS system
5. This is a dynamic role, mostly self-motivated and self-supervised with good communication skills
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Shift Electrician will have experience of:
6. Manufacturing background beneficial
7. Completed a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
8. Experience of maintaining/replacement of automation control systems including motors, inverter drives, contactors etc
9. Successfully completed 17th edition BS wiring regulations
10. PLC programming qualifications Siemens S5 and S7 (desirable but not essential)
11. Fault-finding skills
12. Basic computer skills
