Be seen, be understood, be you. The Brandwatch Professional Services team is looking for a Research Analyst to join its Strategy & Insights division. As a member of this team, you will execute bespoke research projects designed to help our clients understand their brands, consumers and industries. You will also help them act on this understanding. We are a big team of people with diverse backgrounds and varied experience. This means you'll get to learn from highly creative, supportive and curious individuals with a hunger for understanding people. What you'll do: Independently and collaboratively execute research, from set up (data collection) through to creating engaging and actionable narratives from insights. Build a research/storytelling plan that maps to the brief, i.e. project objectives and timelines. Actively participate in and lead sections of client meetings about data and insights, including results delivery presentations. Communicate with internal stakeholders, both within and outside your direct team. Gather client requirements to scope small projects, with the possibility of contributing to and working towards scoping more complex ones. Provide research-driven recommendations that map to clients' business goals. Facilitate workshops to help clients use Brandwatch tools to derive insights. Support on and in some cases deliver technical training sessions for peers and other members of the internal team. This covers areas such as best practices on data cleaning, delivering news on new updates to our systems, or how to best leverage resources available. Gain an understanding of the full range of Brandwatch products and learn when and how to confidently use them. Stay up to date with changes in the Brandwatch tools, competitors, and research industry. Actively monitor risk related topics and other key themes Research and escalate risk related topics to issue owners. Work as part of a larger team in collaborative processes to create deliverables. Prepare analysis of discussion around topics, products, and business lines Recognize and identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies in tools, data, analytics. Produce metrics from tools, and export data when necessary to create additional visualizations of data. Adhere to departmental processes and guidelines, standards, and quality assurance routines. Connect key insights to business outcomes during the analytic process. What you have: 2 years of experience in research within a brand, agency, or vendor setting. Strong knowledge and hand-on experience using social intelligence toolkits and platforms. Understanding of the macro social media environment and industry Experience with data verification, quality control and analytics. Attention to detail and ability to analyze data at a tactical quantitative and strategic qualitative level. Ability to synthesize data into meaningful business insights and present to internal audiences. Ability to construct complex queries using Boolean logic to maximize results in different tools. Ability to work closely with internal business partners to explain the impact of data and findings. Ability to handle multiple types of reports with tight deadlines and large amounts of data. Microsoft Office productivity tools and ability to produce professional quality level reports and presentations. Familiarity with social research, Boolean searches, unstructured data, Brandwatch or similar software is a strong advantage. Full training in Brandwatch software will be provided. Interest in or experience with AI is a plus.
