To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Facades Sales Manager (South) to come and join our team at our I-Studio in Hatton Garden, London, EC1N 8HN Job Purpose: Reporting to the Head of Facade Sales this role is important to support the growth of our Ibstock Futures division. Futures is focused on providing solutions into the MMC markets, with an initial focus on the Mid / High-rise and modular house builders sectors. Responsibility for selling all Ibstock Futures façade solutions to these sectors. The Facades Sales Manager will be responsible for Commercial activity within the Division and for delivery of in year targets and pipeline development to support growth plans. This is an opportunity to partner with existing expertise, but also grow a function from a relatively early period in the divisional life cycle. The core purpose is to drive the business, develop key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans across the areas of responsibility. Responsibilities will include the need to analyse, identify and quantify opportunities; achieve sales targets, deliver agreed sales plans. Be an influential part of the creation of an optimised organisational structure to support the effective growth aspirations within the business in conjunction with the Head Of Façade Sales to maximise the performance of the division whilst delivering account and territory responsibilities. Key Accountabilities: • Achieving sales and profit levels in line with budget targets across specified categories and customer segmentations whilst ensuring first class standard of operations. • Responsibility to deliver key performance measures in line with Divisional expectations. • Ensuring that first class standards of operation (including call reports, CRM reporting, credit notes, and quotes) are consistently achieved. • Acting as a catalyst to implement the changes required to stay ahead of the competition. • Working collaboratively with the Commercial Director to ensure the development, negotiation and execution of an activity plan that delivers our strategy for growth. • Proactively supporting and enhancing the one-team mentality approach with the Futures and core business sales teams. • Creating proactive joint Business Plans with key customers to deliver sustainable value growth. • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders on customer needs and market opportunities. • Build relationships and engage with potential new customers. • Identify, and in collaboration with Ibstock Futures R&D team and our customers, develop new products and systems to fulfil customer needs. Essential Key Skills: • Commercial player with a strong understanding of the UK façade and cladding systems market. • Has a good understanding of the value chain within the industry and key decision makers • Has a good knowledge of the specification process and early engagement with architects and specifiers at key RIBA stages • Proven record of accomplishment in project (systems) sales and business development with an interest in modern methods of construction. • Confident in understanding and advising solutions against technical & design drawings and specifications. • Able to build relationships with new customers that deliver commercial value and maintain existing relationships at a senior level • Entrepreneurial approach - highly autonomous, tenacious and outcome focussed. • Able to identify and pursue commercial opportunities, often in an ambiguous environment. • Engaging, impactful style, with excellent interpersonal skills. • Demonstrates project management capabilities and an execution-oriented style, with the ability to deliver at pace. • Can demonstrate and role model the Ibstock values.
