L3Harris Flight Data Services has the largest flight data monitoring platform in the world; the Software Engineering Team supports & develops capabilities and ad-hoc analysis for this platform. We work with customers to improve their safety operations with insights and analysis capability. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will receive training and support to enable your role. You will produce analytical reports and answer customer requests, working alongside experienced flight data specialists. You will build machine learning models to find hidden patterns in our data and p resent results of analyses and models in a customer friendly manner. Our data is typically time series sensor data, and you will be required to process and clean the data in order to produce suitable metrics. We also expect you to curate and maintain dashboards with valuable insights using data stored in data warehouse. You will also mentor junior team members as well as lead technical data science projects. You will have a range of knowledge and skills and is expected to keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies. You will receive training and will grow your data science skills, and be an engaged member of the team. From time to time you may attend conferences relevant to the ongoing work.
