And it’s a hugely exciting time to join our newly-formed Business Intelligence team. The role We’re a cloud-only organisation using Azure and the Power platform to centralise all data and create a single source of truth. An entire Microsoft ecosystem at your fingertips, giving you the chance to change and influence what we do. So, you’ll see your impact from day one. You’re going to play a key part in how we transform into a streamlined, insight-empowered organisation that embraces data and low-code technologies. You’ll provide essential Business Intelligence development support for the wider Business Intelligence and Power App Development functions, and lead the BI and AppDev teams. You’ll also lead on development of our backend BI platforms including Azure, SQL, Power BI Models/datasets, Power automate, PowerApps and more, and develop the technical data architecture and end to end processes to support robust development and delivery. It’s going to mean designing, building, testing, supporting and evolving the central data platform, making sure that it receives data from multiple sources, structures that correctly and efficiently, and enables the creation of dashboard reports to give us analytics and insight. In addition, you’ll lead BI delivery and work projects and the business to identify solutions that deliver business change. The person You’ll have experience across Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Power Apps and similar, and in developing and managing a scalable data or BI platform service. You should also have delivered business-wide digital projects where cyber security and business continuity are critical components, and have a solid understanding of ETL/Data warehousing/BI from your development, design or consultancy background.
