Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Planning and delivering Science lessons that are engaging, accessible, and tailored to students' individual needs.
* Supporting students in developing their scientific knowledge and practical skills in line with their learning abilities.
* Collaborating with colleagues to implement strategies that encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress to ensure effective, personalised learning.
* Working closely with teaching assistants to provide targeted support to each student.
* Engaging in the wider school community and contributing to professional development opportunities.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with autism.
* A strong understanding of strategies to support SEN students in both academic and social contexts.
* A background in Science teaching is preferred.
* A full, clean driving licence, as the school is in a location that requires reliable transport.
