Position Overview
The Director of Technology Consulting will lead and drive the technology consulting practice within our management consulting firm. This role involves overseeing client engagements, developing strategic technology solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of consulting services. The Director will also play a critical role in business development and fostering client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Management
* Lead and manage multiple technology consulting engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business needs and aligning technology solutions accordingly.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic advice and guidance on technology initiatives.
* Strategy and Solution Development
* Oversee the development of comprehensive technology strategies that support clients’ business objectives.
* Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends, advising clients on the potential impact and opportunities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative technology solutions that drive business transformation.
Team Leadership and Development
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technology consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality consulting services.
* Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team and across the organization.
Business Development
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth of the technology consulting practice.
* Develop proposals, pitch presentations, and other business development materials to win new client engagements.
* Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and potential clients.
Operational Excellence
* Ensure efficient and effective project management practices are in place, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
* Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
