Teaching Assistant

(8.30am – 3.20pm with a 30-minute lunch)
The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a caring and committed teaching assistant to join our dedicated team. We seek a confident, enthusiastic, and calm member of staff who can work across the primary school age group.
The role involves working under the direction of the class teacher to support individual children with SEND on a 1:1 basis, as well as supporting small groups of pupils. The right candidate will demonstrate personal qualities of dedication, patience, flexibility, and good humour. You will work collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team and respond quickly to the changing needs of the school and individual children, as well as demonstrating good levels of Maths and English. You will also support our children in the development of their faith and spiritual journey.
