The Company\n\nA multi award-winning Main Contractor specialising in delivering high-quality construction projects through a number of regional offices across the UK. Priding themselves on building long-term relationships, the company has acquired partnerships with some of the UK’s leading developers, retailers and logistics businesses and boast an impressive level of repeat business. The firm are on a journey of rapid and sustained growth and are currently delivering projects ranging from £5m-£50m on average.\n\nProjects are predominantly delivered on a new-build, refurbishment, or fit-out basis in the following sectors: commercial, industrial & retail.\n\nThe role\n\nWorking closely alongside a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the financial delivery of a given project.
The role reports into a Managing Quantity Surveyor with your time being split between site, home & office. Typical roles and responsibilities include:\n\n * Issuing sub-contract tender packages.\n\n * Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.\n\n * Attending post tender and pre-contract meetings.\n\n * Reviewing of contract documents.\n\n * Manage and maintain relationships with established list of supply chain sub-contractors.\n\n * Assess contract risk.\n\n * Attend internal and external commercial review meetings.\n\n * Submission of client valuations and management of the variation account.\n\n * Management of subcontract accounts from procurement to final account.\n\n * Preparation and assistance with the evaluation and submission of claims for variation works.\n\nBenefits\n\n * Car allowance\n\n * Fuel card\n\n * Bonus\n\n * Pension contribution\n\n * Private Healthcare\n\n * Professional sponsorships
