The Role We are seeking expressions of interest for a proactive and experienced Chief Remote Pilots. You will lead and develop a robust operational standard, all while promoting our core values of people, safety, quality and innovation. Additionally, you will support the implementation of AUAV training and initiatives, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and compliance within our Company. Duties and Responsibilities As a Chief Remote Pilot, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with the CAA regulations Maintain complete and up-to-date operational documents. Prepare and implement safe work method statements and job risk assessments Keep all flight data and RPAS information up to date in the AUAV application platform Ensure all flights are compliant with CAA regulations and AUAV operations manual Applying risk management principles to all work activities to demonstrate ALARP Along with the Operations Manager and Accountable Manager, appointment of RPs and allocation to jobs. T raining and supervising RPs in consultation with the Accountable Manager Conducting and/or supervising all conversions, training and testing to prescribed company standards and CAA regulations. Oversight of practical LPC and signing off company acceptance of pilot training checks. Maintaining RPs Qualification and Training Records, including monitoring RPs medical status, fitness to fly & personal logbooks. Maintenance of UAS records. Maintaining a close liaison with the maintenance contractor where applicable. The preparation of procedural instructions for new operations. The production, revision and amendment of the Operations Manual in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Accountable Manager. Adherence to all relevant CAA documentation. Adherence to the company Operational Authority Qualifications The successful candidate will have the following: UK remote pilot licence. A2CoFC / GVC. ASME Plant Inspector 1 (desirable). BOSIET MIST OGUK Offshore Medical Experiences The successful candidate will have the following: Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role. Minimum 5 Years’ UAV experience Minimum 3 years’ Oil & Gas experience Minimum 3 Years’ Visual Inspection experience (desirable) Minimum 2 years’ Surveying/photogrammetry experience (desirable) Minimum 2 years’ Renewable Energy experience (desirable) Experience in computer-based technology and commercially available reporting software A good knowledge of Client/HSE requirements for NDT inspection, procedures, risk assessments, and COSHH.
