Who You Are You are a highly motivated and committed Main Grade Social Worker with experience in a statutory setting. You possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, along with good assessment and case management capabilities. You are knowledgeable about Personal Budgets/Self Directed Support, local and Pan London Safeguarding protocols, relevant legislation, and social care initiatives. Your solid supervisory skills ensure you effectively manage a varied caseload and prioritize the wellbeing of individuals you work with. It is essential that you are double vaccinated as it's mandatory for this role. What the Job Involves The role involves carrying a caseload, including high-risk cases, and undertaking safeguarding investigations and attending case conferences when necessary. You will be responsible for a range of case work, managing non-complex needs under supervision, and actively engaging with internal and external partners to deliver positive outcomes. Accepting referrals, conducting screenings, providing information and advice, and carrying out initial assessments are key responsibilities. You will also undertake customer reviews with long-term, low-level needs within statutory timelines and perform necessary reassessments.
