Job summary As a Screening and Immunisation Coordinator, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Midlands Vaccination Team to commission consistently resilient, high quality national Vaccination programmes within the defined geography of the Midlands region. Main duties of the job The Vaccination Commissioning team is responsible for ensuring high quality vaccination services are commissioned to meet the health needs of the population. The post holder will work primarily in the East of the Midlands Region, which covers 5 Integrated Care Board footprints: Derby & Derbyshire Lincolnshire Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Northamptonshire Nottingham & Nottinghamshire The post holder will be part of a team of Vaccination coordinators who will support the implementation of plans and continuous improvement of the commissioning and delivery of the national programmes. The post-holder's main responsibilities will be the day-to-day work assigned by the Vaccination manager relating to the management and oversight of vaccination services across a defined geographical area. The post holder will also be required to provide accurate and timely advice in response to enquiries and incident reports from provider organisations.
