The Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our client's Corporate Tax Team, where you'll work closely with partners and senior management. In this role, you'll assume partial responsibility for team management and gain the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse portfolio of indigenous owner-managed and internationally owned businesses. These businesses hail from various sectors, including technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and transport, with many of them having a strong international focus. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the management team to nurture and expand the firm's relationships with a portfolio of clients, overseeing the coordination of service offerings from other departments. Ensure timely compliance with payment and return filing deadlines for a portfolio of corporate tax clients. Work closely with the Partners and the management team in advising clients on potential business structures, transfer pricing, and profit repatriations. Act as a key member of an integrated client service team, contributing to a wide range of tax advisory projects. Contribute towards collective departmental targets for billing, net fee income, cash collection, and personal and firm-wide goals. Participate in peer-wide training and team training initiatives. Engage in business development and marketing efforts at the firm, department, and team levels. Take responsibility for staff development and review procedures. Ideal Candidate: AITI qualified and a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years' experience in practice at the manager level. Experience in corporation tax compliance, including larger corporates and tax consultancy assignments. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law. Operational supervision experience in assignments and managing client relationships. Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational and planning capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A desire for personal growth and development in a changing tax landscape.
