Stockroom Manager - 6 month contract - Edinburgh
Loriens leading public sector client are looking for a Stockroom Manager responsible for the stores and warehouse team which undertakes, receiving, delivery, storage and tracking of computer equipment.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in Stores and Warehouse operation and management and previous experience in the procurement of goods and services. Experience in the use of computer systems including MS Office and Stock Control is essential, along with previous experience of managing and developing a team.
As a stock manager you will be responsible for the stock room and the assets and consumables within it, ensuring that every order is scanned, tagged and stored within the correct stock location.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the stock has a smooth journey through the stockroom and tracked on the ATOM. You will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse stock is managed efficiently and effectively on a day to day basis. You will also become confident in all areas of the stockroom including scanning, tagging and sorting stock, picking orders and loading orders for dispatch.
This role would suit a highly focused and dedicated individual with previous stock control experience who thrives in a fast paced environment.

* Stock control, counting goods and communicating with all relevant departments regarding stocking levels
* Picking and packing goods for homeworking
* Loading and unloading goods on to pallets and cages
* Asset tagging
* Asset tracking
