We seek an enthusiastic, committed individual who possesses the energy and focus to succeed in this essential position and hit our high standards. This will be a fulfilling role within our growing business playing a key role within the Sales team and working closely with Sales Manager Tom.
In every aspect of our retailing, the aim is always to exceed customer expectations and so customer care is of paramount importance. Within this role, you will be helping lead from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible Sales experience.
Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure a 5-star customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
About The Role
The Person
The successful candidate for this position will be someone who is highly motivated with a proven track record in sales. A minimum of 2 years' selling experience is required and experience within a car dealership is essential. F&I experience within a dealership would be advantageous. Previous team leader experience and/or experience within a similar role would be an advantage. The successful candidate must hold a valid Driver's License.
The Role
1. Maintain product knowledge and be aware of Sales Promotions and quarterly campaigns in operation.
2. Help lead the Sales team to achieve success focusing on defined priority areas.
3. Follow up and prospect customers to maximize every sales opportunity for both repeat and new business.
4. Assist the Sales Manager with the daily operations of the department in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
5. Ensure that each customer is provided with the information to make an informed decision relative to their purchase.
6. Stack deals for the sales team and 2nd face customers.
7. Comply with FCA obligations and F&I Sales Process.
8. Deputize for the Sales Manager in his absence.
9. Complete training programs as required.
10. Maintain adequate records of all sales activities including customer contacts through showroom log.
11. Carry out full and accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange, using the showroom enquiry form, including mechanical, electrical and all cosmetic features.
12. Maintain all paperwork in a complete and orderly manner.

Required Criteria
1. A minimum of 2 years selling experience.
2. Experience within a car dealership essential.
3. Experience carrying out full and accurate appraisals of vehicles presented in part-exchange.
4. Knowledge of FCA obligations, F&I, Sales Processes.
5. Excellent written & oral communication and IT skills needed.
Desired Criteria
1. Previous team leader experience and/or experience within a similar role would be an advantage.
2. F&I experience within a car dealership advantageous.
