We are recruiting a Deputy Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Location: Brodawel Residential Home
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Social Services Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £33,024 - £35,745 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Brodawel Residential Home provides long term and short term accommodation for older people who are living with a dementia.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team who has the necessary skills, experience and commitment to support the Team Manager of the Home to manage and provide leadership to the staff team, and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements in line with codes of conduct and CCBC procedures to ensure people who live in the Home experience the highest standard of care in all areas including relationship centred care and dementia care.
The Deputy Manager takes responsibility of the Home in the absence of the Team Manager.
Working hours will include weekends and bank holidays.
For the role, we ask that you have:
Any qualifications listed by Social Care Wales for registration as an Adult Care Home Manager. Please refer to the Social Care Wales website for the current qualifications accepted.
Knowledge of Care Inspectorate Wales Regulation Inspection Social Care Act (RISCA).
A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving license, and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough.
