A little about the role We are looking for a passionate and innovative Assistant Buyer to join our Lipsy non-clothing team. Working closely with our Merchandisers and Designers you will be an integral part of our team responsible for creating trend driven and profitable ranges for our customer. You will also be responsible for the training and development of our BAA, ensuring all tasks are fulfilled and the department runs smoothly. Ensuring products are developed within target margins Staying ahead of the trends through research from; social media, blogs, fashion websites, news, catwalk, street style etc Knowledgeable of own department and business performance through analysis of Line Performance Reviewing sales reactions with your Buyer and Merchandiser, suggesting commercial solutions Attending fit meetings and contributing with commercial opinions, displaying customer awareness Attending meetings in Buyers absence Prioritising samples to meet both business and supplier needs Supporting your Buyer with production issues Overseeing BAA’s management of day to day samples Conducting a weekly critical path meeting with your BAA.
