Our client, an esteemed investment management firm, is seeking a Risk & Compliance Monitoring Analyst to join their Edinburgh team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Risk & Compliance monitoring program with significant emphasis on the delivery of regular monitoring components, market abuse surveillance, client order handling, best execution oversight, and conflicts of interest. Essential Skills/Experience:
1. Experience of performing in a monitoring and assurance capacity.
2. Demonstrable experience of delivering to a high standard in a timely manner.
3. Experience of building good relationships and positively influencing.
4. Knowledge of specific regulations, legislation, governance, and compliance requirements.
5. Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and adherence to professional standards.
6. Demonstrates a strong focus on self-improvement and continuous learning.
7. Clearly & effectively communicates information through a range of channels.
8. Attends to critical details to ensure timely delivery of quality work.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Significant emphasis on the delivery of regular monitoring components.
2. Ensuring that issues identified are discussed with the Head of Risk & Compliance Monitoring.
3. Delivery of high-quality and timely Risk & Compliance monitoring activities.
4. Assisting in the delivery of the Risk & Compliance Monitoring Plan (‘RCMP’).
5. Identify personal development areas and work with the Head of Risk & Compliance Monitoring.
6. Develop positive and professional working relationships within Risk & Compliance.
7. Be proactive, demonstrate well-considered judgements, and anticipate emerging risks.
