Team Administrator

We are looking to recruit a Team Administrator to join our expanding Procurement team.
Working alongside our team of administrators, under the guidance of the team leader and manager, you will help develop the company’s brands and manage stock and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, previous experience in stock management and order processing. However, we highly value enthusiasm, drive, and positivity and would therefore welcome applications from candidates with experience in other areas with those important transferable skills.
Location: This is an office-based role in Southam, Warwickshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working 9am – 5pm.
The Role:
1. Working as part of the Purchasing Team, providing efficient and effective support to the Manager and Procurement team leader in developing the company’s brands and managing stock and suppliers.
2. Preparing stock reports in Excel for each supplier and for items bought by specific customers.
3. Entering purchase orders onto the electronic system and emailing these to suppliers.
4. Obtaining quotes for spare parts.
5. Setting up new part numbers for spares & customer special items.
6. Checking item specific setups taking into account prices, country of origin, and box quantities.
7. Keeping purchase prices up to date.
8. Chasing supplier orders.
9. Keeping freight uplifts on the system up to date.
10. Providing cover as required for the department.
11. Filing and answering the telephone for internal and external calls.
12. Assisting the wider team with rebranding/relabelling as and when required.
The Person:
Essential skills:
* IT skills, that must include Microsoft Excel.
* Strong mathematical ability.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* A good team player.
* Excellent communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
Desirable skills that would be an advantage:
* SAP B1 experience.
* Stock management and order processing.
* Excellent time management and planning skills.
