Fully Remote, Permanent Position with Benefits! Health Insurance Experience Preferred.
In the role of Retention Coordinator, you will provide proactive member services to new and continuing patients/families on HIPP (Medicaid Extension Program).
Your main duties will include verifications, patient outreach, problem solving for members, and renewals.
Health Plan / Insurance / Medicaid experience is thus helpful but not a requirement.
This is a fully remote, permanent, full-time position.

Retention Coordinator- Remote
The Retention Coordinator Manager will oversee the Retention Department including Retention Coordinator Staff and provide member services to patients/families on HIPP. This Player/Coach role requires teamwork, collaboration and managerial experience while adhering to our mission, vision and values. This role will report to the Associate Director of State Operations as well as have line of sight to Regional Vice Presidents.
Main Responsibilities
1. Verifications: Verify commercial and Medicaid insurance in the Maintenance bucket as needed (for several hospitals potentially).
2. Patient outreach: Communicate with families on HIPP Medicaid program via email, text, and phone call to build relationships and gather information.
3. Renewals: Work closely with families and the team to gather documents necessary to complete renewal applications.
4. Problem solving: Address issues such as mismatched deductions, employer outreach, and various inquiries from families.
Skills And Abilities Needed For This Position
* Excellent communication and people skills via phone, video and email to effectively educate and gather pertinent information.
* Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills while showing patience and empathy.
* Ability to work independently (yet ask for help when needed). Teamwork is essential.
* Outstanding time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
* Demonstrate a positive mindset to enhance daily interactions with patients and staff.
* Exhibit adaptability, initiative, and strategic thinking to have a broader business view.
* Insurance background and knowledge of HIPP helpful, but not a requirement.
* Technically savvy and comfortable working remotely from a home office.
