Your role
This role requires weekly travel to our Frankfurt site and/or other European locations as required.
Digital Park Fechenheim is a landmark development in the heart of Frankfurt's data center landscape. As part of driving our global health and safety standards we are searching for a high performing Health and Safety Manager. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the health and safety performance of general contractors, improving processes and tools for controlling high-risk activities, and aligning the Health & Safety Management system with ISO 45001 standards. By raising awareness and providing training in health and safety processes, you will significantly contribute to risk prevention and the overall safety culture within the organization.
What you'll do
1. Supervise and contribute to the deployment of the Health and Safety Policy on construction sites.
2. Analyze operational risk situations, particularly High-Risk Activities (HRA).
3. Conduct daily safety visits, identify non-compliance, and report findings.
4. Establish and track safety indicators to drive preventive or corrective actions.
5. Participate in incident analysis, propose corrective actions, and ensure their implementation.
6. Support safety meetings and the dissemination of feedback.
7. Collaborate with general contractors to enhance safety performance and address deviations effectively.
8. Identify innovative technical solutions and maintain a strong presence in the field to promote awareness and adherence to safety standards.
9. This role is essential for driving safety excellence on construction projects and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
What you'll need
1. Degree or Diploma specialized in Health and Safety.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in Health and Safety in construction.
3. Audit techniques; Risk analysis methods; Problem-solving skills.
4. Demonstrate leadership qualities and be an open and cooperative person who takes the initiative and makes things happen (Has a can-do mentality).
5. Commitment to promote the company's culture of compliance through professionalism, responsibility, teamwork, and customer focus.
6. Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a significant benefit.
7. To be able to travel to Frankfurt and/or other European locations on a weekly basis.
