At AXA we’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our People Services team in Bolton on a full time 12-month fixed-term contract. As a People Services Advisor, you’ll play a crucial part in helping our customers find the right solutions, whether it’s providing expert advice over the phone, handling tasks through our case management system, Help, or efficiently dealing with email inquiries. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring and quality-checking tasks that support our business processes, as well as assisting in the administration of vital business projects in our HR system, MyWorkday. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Core Answering calls that come into the People Services team, providing advice and help. Managing a portfolio of cases in Help. Administrating People Services tasks and processes. Ensuring issues are escalated as appropriate to leaders, People Services and the business as needed. Providing quality customer service and interacting with other teams involved e.g. payroll etc. Working through and priortising tasks in the inbox. Maintaining the quality of the data in MyWorkday and Help. Filing and maintaining documents in HR Systems. Technical Providing HR support and advice to employees, managers and candidates. Administering the processes and provision of employee relations advice and guidance. What you’ll bring: Experience in a customer service telephone-based role. Proven administration skills. Customer focused with the ability to connect with a variety of people over the phone and in writing whilst conducting yourself in a professional manner. Experience using Case Management Systems. Analytical, highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Understands and demonstrates the importance of Data Protection and its associated risks. Computer literate with experience of MS Office and IT tools, demonstrating accuracy and speed when updating relevant HR systems. Desirable Experience of working in an HR Shared Services team. CIPD qualification. Stakeholder Management experience. Working knowledge of employment law.
