WHAT TO EXPECT
Come and join JLR as a Systems Verification & Validation Product Owner, poised to play a pivotal role in the validation of the Interior Climate Control and Air Quality system.
You will be working as part of the wider systems engineering team for Climate Control. You will help set the strategy for rigs and, with a small team, develop them and manage the validation plan and execution.
Your mission is to work closely with the System Engineering and Calibration teams to maximise the coverage of testing and drive a high-quality process and output.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Working with line manager, cross-functional teams, stakeholders and teams to develop clear product goals, making data-driven decisions and prioritising work for the squad
* Oversight of system functional rigs in the UK and India, that support Climate Control Validation
* Working with the operations and service teams to develop the India and UK-based rigs and further improve capability in line with systems need
* Close collaboration with key stakeholders to manage the format and flow of test plans that provide work for the rigs
* Building strong relationships, being flexible and supporting the team. Ensuring that you contribute to continuous improvement and support agile working delivery methodology and mindset
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Relevant experience working in a Systems Engineering or Controls and Calibration environment - ideally within the Automotive Sector
* Technical knowledge of Systems Engineering, V-Model, Systems Integration, Systems Architecture, Requirements management, System Integration, testing and issue debugging and resolution
* A good working knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes
* Some work experience in a practical testing environment, either in HIL / Lab Car / Vehicle in loop / Rig / Vehicle test environments
* Hands-on experience in using X-ray/any alternate test case writing tools and debugging tools such as CAN Analyser / CANOE/ CANApe/ CORVUS / INCA toolsets
