Summary
Reporting to the Sr IT Business Partner – Manufacturing, the IT BA – Manufacturing Function is responsible for being the conduit between our business teams and IT teams.
Working with a mix of internal and external teams, the IT BA captures, understands, and documents business requirements in the support of delivering IT projects across the ANJ region. They will also be enabling mfg processes and own the IT support of business critical IT applications.
Having a focus on the improvement in delivery of IT projects and services, you will be a key member of a customer focused, fast paced, dynamic and positive energy IT team. The role involves pro-active, hands-on approach to IT project support and operational support, whilst working closely with the global IT partners to deliver required capability for ANJ business team.
Key responsibilities
1. Own the support of IT application in the function, with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
2. Enhancing the quality of IT products and services in the Manufacturing function.
3. Playing the role of Subject Matter Expert to support IT and Business teams when required.
4. Strong sense of customer focus.
5. Pro-actively work with business partners to identify and document their requirements.
6. Analysis of information gathered to help establish business needs and drive better business decisions.
7. Prepared to roll up sleeves and bridge the gap between business and IT stakeholders.
8. Finding and recommending standardised IT solutions to meet business requirements.
9. Driving system rationalisation and support alignment to the Kraft Heinz IT strategic roadmap.
10. Support project activities as requested by IT project team, such as project health checks, audits, documentation, performance improvement, and project management tasks.
11. Support the delivery of IT projects, to be delivered consistently with a high level of quality, within budget and time constraints.
12. Other duties as defined from time to time by the IT Capability Lead for Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing, IT Business Partner or as well as CIO – ANJ.
13. The ability to work in a fast paced environment while developing a deep level of understanding of our business team and IT solution architecture.
14. Pro-actively support the IT project team manage project dependencies.
15. Effectively identify, track and manage potential IT risks and issues.
16. Analysing the design of technical systems and business models as required.
17. Understanding strategic business needs including future business plans.
18. Ensuring the Kraft Heinz CMDB is up to date, to accurately represent the ANJ IT landscape.
19. Support the delivery and transition to IT operational support of IT applications, infrastructure, and services, including supporting business in resolving business process related issues.
20. Track monitor and coordinate resolution to issues impacting IT deliverables.
21. Elevate risks to the IT project team or relevant management level when appropriate.
22. Supporting cross functional, multi-national, multi-vendor teams in developing solutions to meet business requirements.
23. Ability to drive and motivate IT vendors to deliver positive business outcomes.
24. Support stakeholders to ensure all projects and initiatives have a strong business case, benefits and adequate budget for project resources.
25. Support IT project teams to ensure that change to scope is tightly controlled and approved by correct level of authority.
26. Supporting project go-live activities including hyper-care, to ensure IT projects are successfully transitioned into production and successfully closed.
27. Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals.
28. Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company’s vision.
About you
1. Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or similar.
2. Formal Business Analysis qualifications (such as CBAP or similar) are preferred.
3. 2+ years as an IT Business Analyst or similar technology driven role.
4. 2+ years as actively involved in leading projects.
5. Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
6. Working in international virtual teams, across time-zones.
7. Managing vendor relationships.
8. Provide strong leadership and clear direction to IT team members / project stakeholders.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate with all levels of our business. (from junior level through to senior management)
10. Excellent administration, reporting and organisational skills.
11. Deep and creative problem solving, with an attention to detail.
12. An analytical mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills.
13. Foundation knowledge of IT Business Analysis methodologies, including but not limited to BABOK, CBAP or similar.
14. Basic knowledge of IT Project Management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
15. Basic knowledge of IT Software Development Life-Cycle, and IT infrastructure technologies.
16. The ability to effectively work with in-house / outsourced IT virtual teams.
17. Strong experience with using IT technology to work effectively with IT teams across multiple countries and time-zones.
18. Intermediate skill with the Microsoft Office suite of products (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
