About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in their mathematical understanding. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms, and practical applications of maths, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and skills. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Maths examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria and mathematical methodologies. Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and resources, integrating current mathematical research and real-world applications. Foster a love of maths in students, encouraging them to develop their analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment, and to contribute to the wider academic and extracurricular life of the school. Organize and lead maths-related activities, such as maths clubs and competitions, promoting mathematical engagement and problem-solving skills. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Demonstrated ability to teach Maths across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including A-Level. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Maths examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. A passion for maths and a commitment to fostering mathematical inquiry.
