Due to relocation, we are looking to recruit for a pivotal role within our team - Retail Manager.
Ballintaggart Shops are fast becoming synonymous with our brand, from our fresh daily bakes and lunches to our carefully curated food, drink, and lifestyle products.
Our retail spaces are thoughtfully designed and filled with a passionate team ready to share with customers their knowledge of exciting Scottish producers.

This role will cover 3 retail locations across Aberfeldy and Kenmore. Working closely with the Head of Retail, you will be responsible for the smooth daily operation of the stores and team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Being an ambassador of Ballintaggart and our brands.
2. Leading by example in terms of customer service, skills, and product knowledge - aiming to constantly inspire our team.
3. Assisting in the creation and delivery of staff training including product & suppliers, SOPs as well as coffee and till systems.
4. Placing weekly and monthly orders accurately following ordering schedules.
5. Managing and booking in stock deliveries.
6. Creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
7. Assisting in the development of the product ranges throughout the stores and online.
8. Management of 10-15 retail team members.
9. Planning and management of rotas and holiday planner.
10. Tracking wastage and recording this accurately.
11. Effective stock management including end of month stock takes.
12. Managing our weekly banking and change process.
13. Responsibility for store maintenance, ensuring repairs are dealt with swiftly and escalated to Head of Retail where required.
14. Assisting with processing and packaging online orders.
An in-store presence is crucial for this role and will require you to work across all shop locations including regular weekend working.
