Key Responsibilities
1. Global Payroll Management: Oversee and process payroll for employees across the UK, US, and South Africa, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
2. Payroll Systems & Data Integrity: Maintain payroll records with precision, ensuring data accuracy and seamless system operation.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing guidance to employees and working closely with external payroll providers.
4. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure payroll operations align with country-specific tax regulations, pension schemes, and statutory requirements.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies, supporting automation and best practices.
6. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare payroll reports, assist with audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping for financial and compliance purposes.
Skills & Experience Required
1. International Payroll Expertise: Experience managing payroll across multiple countries, with a strong understanding of regional differences and best practices.
2. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using global payroll systems and working with third-party providers, with advanced Excel skills for payroll data analysis.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, pensions, and statutory requirements across different regions.
4. Effective Communication: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and explain payroll processes clearly to employees and stakeholders.
5. Strong Organisation Skills: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple payroll cycles, prioritise tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
