Job Summary
We are a small Drainage company that has an exciting opportunity for a new operations manager. We deal with private customers as well as commercial customers. We always aim for the highest standards in all our works and are always looking to push the business in the best direction.
The Business Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the organisation's operations. This position is responsible for overseeing various business processes, implementing strategies to improve productivity, and ensuring that operational goals align with the company's objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of business operations, enabling them to drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Duties
1. Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
2. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
3. Coordinate with the directors to ensure alignment of operational goals with overall business objectives.
4. Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimise operational performance.
5. Lead our small team in projects aimed at improving processes and driving innovation.
6. Conduct regular reviews of operational procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and professional development among staff members.
8. Prepare reports for directors outlining operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

1. Proven experience in business operations management or a related field.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
3. Excellent leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams effectively.
4. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
