We are looking for Supported Internships Specialist to join our Reach and Rise team. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £31,337 - £33,035 p.a. inc. London Weighting. The Supported Internships Specialist role: To work under the supervision and guidance of the Project Manager to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities. Key Responsibilities of our Supported Internships Specialist: To use learning support systems to ensure bespoke support is provided for individual supported learners. To apply appropriate communication methods, suitable to the needs and preferences of the student, to enable access to information, and to facilitate two way communication. To provide one-to-one support, both direct and indirect, for students with learning difficulties and disabilities within the work placement setting. Our ideal Supported Internships Specialist should have the following qualifications, skills and experience: A Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant field (E) Experience of providing effective coaching for students on an individual basis or in a group setting to support success and progression. (E) Demonstrate an ability to support, monitor and track the learner progress including attendance, behavior, and completion of vocational activity. (E) Able to communicate clearly and assertively with groups of learners.
