Job Description As a vital member of the Infrastructure pillar, you will work with your team to provide administrative support to the site and be responsible for the flow of project documentation. Through working with an experienced document controller you will learn to manage documentation reliability for security, revision control, availability accuracy and auditability to ensure compliance with organisations management processes, quality assurance and ISO requirements. Under the guidance of your line manager you will be responsible for: Ensuring company documentation is compliant with our organisation processes and protocols Registering received Information Maintaining and ensuring integrity and accuracy of Electronic and Master Hard copy Documents and registers Maintain Document Distribution lists and managing the flow of Information Managing and Maintaining files on our document management system Generating Reports Administrative duties such as ordering stationery and supplies, secretarial support and answering telephone calls and emails. What to expect from your Apprenticeship programme As an Apprentice Document Controller with United Living, you’ll be given a real job from day one where you will gain hands-on industry experience, and the knowledge required to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll be inspired and stretched professionally, but fully supported by an expert network of colleagues, as you work to build the foundations for a career within United Living, and the construction industry. To help you settle into your role, we’ll provide you with a buddy from our apprentice population. They will have some great advice as they were in exactly the same situation as you not so long ago, and you’ll also receive a dedicated mentor who will help guide you throughout your apprenticeship programme to help you achieve professional success. As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto the Business Administration Level 3 qualification with one of our training partners. You will be fully supported through a variety of methods including remotely taught sessions, learning materials, and one-to-one support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.
