Chef Manager
Develop a great work relationship with your team to provide the best customer service, with excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, and a real passion for food & service.
Collaborate with the back of house team to develop well-balanced and nutritious menus, prepare and manage the catering budget, establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers and faculty, and recruit, train, supervise and motivate catering staff.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols, identify opportunities for growth, innovation and improvement, and maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Proven experience as a Chef Manager or equivalent in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
* Financially astute, with excellent coaching, delegation and influencing skills.
* Ability to prioritise multiple projects, multitask, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
* Meticulous organisational abilities, empathetic, clear and highly effective verbal and written communication, and ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities.
* Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.
